Budget Committee

The Budget Committee meets on an annual basis beginning in late April or early May to receive the budget message, review the proposed budget, provide opportunity for public input, and approve the budget and tax rates. The Committee is established pursuant to ORS 294.414.

The Budget Committee is comprised of the HRCTD Board of Directors and five-seven additional City residents. The citizen members serve for a 3 year term.  The Board appoints new members to the Committee at their March or April Board Meeting.
